As an Advanced Procurement Engineer you will be responsible for procurement activities in the development of new cost out/in and design to cost solutions in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, throughout development in collaboration with the Central Engineering CVE team, from prototype phase to serial production.
How to contribute to our vision
You will ensure that our suppliers are involved early in the new development of solutions and actively participating in developing cost out ideas for the BU.
Ensure that suppliers are involved in the design of the solutions since the earliest steps of the product development, covering all regions where the product will be manufactured and installed.
You align internally in procurement or external stakeholders the platform needs in terms of time, cost, and quality. You will be the procurement representative in R&D projects within the business unit.
You ensure early involvement of procurement in the development phase of solutions and products in alignment with Strategic Procurement and Cost Engineering and leading the Procurement activities from Prototype phase.
Integrate suppliers in SGRE development phase securing purchasing of components on time for prototype assemblies in time and cost, in all regions where the product will be manufactured and installed. It also included prototype costing in PT stage.
You proactively develop and drive cost out solutions based on technical know-how.

A person who holds a relevant engineering degree preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Production Engineering combined with several years of experience in procurement, design or manufacturing preferably in the Wind industry. Experience in Project Management and working in cross-functional teams.
As a person you are assertive, proactive and result-oriented and you have a structured and hands-on approach to complex tasks.
You thrive in an international environment and possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing.
You have good experience within the IT technologies Microsoft Office, SAP, Teamcenter.
