The company is a German multinational, leader in the areas of science and technology. In line with our efforts to strengthen our Corporate Social Responsibility and our contribution to a better preservation of the environment, has recently launched a Corporate Sustainability strategy which requires collaboration from all areas of the company. Group Procurement will play a key role in the execution of this strategy. In this context, the Procurement team of our Life Science Sector (Sourcing LS) is seeking to incorporate a Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability Manager. This is a global role with global responsibility. Your mission in this role will be to lead the Sourcing LS sustainability initiatives, in particular those related to the reduction of Scope 3 emissions in collaboration with the sector’s Procurement team, internal stakeholders and suppliers, with the aim of implementing these initiatives according to the timelines set by the company. You will also be accountable for designing and building-up a concept of Corporate Social Responsibility for Sourcing LS in collaboration with corporate organizations. In addition, you will lead the change management process within the Sourcing LS organization and make Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainability a key priority within the responsibilities of the team.

Who you are:

University degree, M.S. MBA or similar, ideally in a science field

You have a minimum of 5-10 years of working experience in Corporate Social Responsibility / Sustainability and bring experience in the development of sustainability strategies and their execution at an international or global level. Experience in the reduction of Scope 3 emissions is required.

Ideally, you have working experience in the Life Science industry.

More than 10 years of professional experience, ideally in Procurement.

You are able to manage global initiatives and bring experience in change management with international teams.

You are able to manage a high workload and have shown high performance over a sustained period of time.

You have excellent communication skills and the required seniority to interact with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers.

You are proficient in English and the use of IT tools.

The job location is Mollet del Vallès, Barcelona.
