We are seeking for individuals with high expertise and breadth of data knowledge who also have the ability to partner with stakeholders internally (such as the Machine Learning team, Customer Success team) as well as externally. This role will be part of a small team under Business Finance.

We are looking for an independent minded Data Engineer who can help us to build a new data warehouse-infrastructure and help us to maintain data discipline across the company.

Primary tasks will include

Build and maintain a data pipeline infrastructure for ETL with a wide variety of data sources, using SQL, cloud based relational, and/or non-relational databases to create Tabular Cubes
Design, implement & maintain Azure (PaaS, DBaaS) and on-premise SQL server architecture
Maintain current End Of Life DWH (Multidimensional) until Azure setup is completed
Perform tasks such as: data collection, data cleaning, data aggregation
Assemble large and complex data sets to meet functional/non-functional business requirements

It will be beneficial if you are able to:

Identify and automate process improvements – Optimizing data delivery and re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
Perform tests and evaluations regularly to ensure data security, privacy and integrity
Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards
Monitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when required


Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
Experience with Microsoft data stack (on-premise and Azure) is mandatory
Database administration & -design experience including data warehousing and data marts is mandatory
Strong knowledge about
DAX, ETL, TSQL coding, stored procedures, views, troubleshooting & debugging is mandatory
Data Management Tools (CI/CD, DevOps) is highly beneficial
A genuine interest in exploring and utilizing new technologies and platforms
Be a self-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional problem-solving skills
Sufficient coding skills to independently gather data from various sources (for example C++, Python…)
Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
High level of English language skills
Being able to convey your results, methodology, etc. through conversations, written communications or data visualizations
