Key Responsibilities:
Build a solid and efficient Regional Transport and Distribution organization for Europe, Middle East, Africa and India
Identify and drive the fundamental changes necessary to orient the behaviour of teams towards customer needs
Implement a performance-driven culture by implementing Continuous Improvement/Lean/Kaizen principles and concepts
Provide overall direction to the teams, including Transport, Courier, Customs clearance operations, Distribution, documentation, import, export, packaging, etc with the commercial force, plants, Customer care, controllers
Lead people with the accountability of results through empowerment and operational measurements/metrics
Key internal stakeholders:
Commercial Divisions, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service and Controlling
We Value:
10+ ears prior Operations experience
Transport & Distribution leadership experience
MBA or Master in Supply Chain
Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
Multicultural approach, ability to work with multifunctional teams
Business acumen
Able to interact with technical counterparts
Good analytical skills, data-driven decision making
