Looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect (EA) and leader to work in our Global Enterprise Architecture Team to develop and drive Workplace Automation strategies, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders to guide them in making the right investments in technology and innovation.
As Enterprise Architect, you provide technology strategy and architecture leadership and direction to the Roche Group worldwide . You ensure that relevant Automation technologies and standards are used and applied to enable intelligent automation in support of Roches business strategies and processes.
Your main responsibilities are:
Co-create the vision & technology strategy and provide architecture leadership for strategic Intelligent Automation Platforms in accordance with Roche principles & methodologies.
Stay abreast of the rapidly evolving Automation technology landscape and combine it with a solid understanding of the internal technology landscape to provide business outcome focussed technology recommendations to address current gaps and deliver new business capabilities.
Lead and inspire the technology transformation from roadmap to realization by conducting assessments, innovation, prioritizing standards and influencing investments.
Drive the journey towards Hyperautomation to deliver superior business value & efficiency through orchestration of multiple technologies such as Automation (BPA, RPA, DPA, Low Code, etc), Analytics & AI (ML, NLP, CV, OCR, etc) and core business platforms (ERP, CRM, etc).
Engage and collaborate with stakeholders and architecture partners across the Enterprise to ensure consistency in direction and decision-making.
Facilitate stakeholder sessions with personnel across all disciplines in the company to identify requirements, evaluate technology solutions and collaborate with Engineering to execute proof-of-concepts for new / emerging technologies.
Create and deliver compelling presentations to articulate the technical strategies, architecture and roadmaps to various levels in the organization
Consult on technical architecture implementation activities with all stakeholders and Service Owners to ensure alignment. Oversee and work with Engineering on the evaluation and selection of Automation related technologies and products.
Identify the organizational, operational sustainability and financial impacts of defined strategies; analyze gaps to create a risk profile for the proposed strategy.
Who You Are:
Skills and Experience:
You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science and relevant experience in large, complex or multi-national companies. Ideally, you have strong business knowledge in the Pharma/Biotech/Diagnostics industry and associated processes and you bring the following qualifications:
At least 10 to 15 years of architecture experience, with focus in designing and implementing automation or process management solutions for both on-premise and cloud deployed solutions in medium to large global enterprises with global geographical topologies
At least 5 years of experience in implementing solutions based on process management technologies in the domains of BPA, DPA, RPA, etc, and working knowledge of intelligent automation platforms such as Pega, Outsystems, ServiceNow and low code platforms such as AppSheet.
Demonstrated passion for technologies and deep understanding of key industry trends in the areas of RPA/BPA, AI/ML/NLP, Chabots and Digital Agents, OCR and Knowledge mining and search.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute the vision and roadmap for Intelligent Automation based on Robotics, Cognitive Learning and Artificial Intelligence.
Knowledge and experience in developing solutions compliant with the regulatory and legal requirements within the Pharmaceutical Industry is a plus.
Leverage an agile and adaptive ecosystem to support process automation and citizen development by providing the right tools to speed up the time to market, support the digital transformation and also maintain up to date automation technology landscape.
The ability to develop and execute a technical vision with a focus on business value and proven experience in Agile environments. Can work individually and as a team member.
Accomplished in framing an enterprise IT architecture, proven to deliver robust, secure, scalable, highly available, and dynamic solutions to drive global business objectives
Ability to review proposed solution architectures, identify risks and provide remediation recommendations in line with established standards and overall Workplace Automation strategies.
Effectively engage stakeholders at all levels and promote candid communication in the creation of strategies and roadmaps; able to influence and negotiate with Business and IT Partners.
