Performs service activities within guidelines and in compliance with internal & customer procedures and regulations.
This means mainly: installs, repairs, maintenance and instruction of use of instruments to ensure safe and effective customer operations.
Provides responsive telephone and on-site service and generally works to ensure that customer is successful in the use of Life Technologies instrumentation (qPCR, Capillary electrophoresis, DNA Extractors).
Coordinates own work schedule with relevant partners (service coordinator, team leader, colleagues).
Produces timely and accurate reports of the own activities as appropriate: i.e. engineer reports, planned maintenance reports, installation reports, expense reports, etc.
Professional background as a technician, or life science or related subjects
Troubleshooting knowledge and experience.
Good verbal and written command of the English and Spanish language.
Minimum of two years in a relevant service function.
Willingness to travel through Spain. mainly in Andalucía and Madrid, with the possibility to stay one or two nights out of home per week.
Technical skills in case of not technician background.
Good communication skills.
Organized and Responsible.
Problem analysis and decision making.
Availability to travel over 70%, national territory
