Eurofins Environment Testing Spain is looking for a Junior Project Manager – Operations and Business Management to join its team in Castellón. In Spain, Eurofins has four analysis laboratories, located in Castellón, Madrid, Seville and Pontevedra, and technical and commercial offices in Zaragoza, Barcelona, Valencia, Palma de Mallorca and Cartagena, which enables it to provide a service close to its customers. Eurofins Environment Testing Spain focuses its activity on studies, technical advice, water sampling and analysis, contaminated soil analysis, waste, sediments, biota, atmospheric analysis, industrial hygiene and hospital hygiene, through a high degree of specialisation which, in addition to traditional physicochemical and microbiological parameters, includes the determination of organic contaminants, priority substances, drugs and medicines, radioactivity, biological indicators, among others.
We are hiring a Junior Project Manager (permanent position) to be part of our Fast Track Leadership & Management Programme. During your first two years in the company, you will be assigned to three to four projects designed to prepare you for a leadership role. These projects will have significant impact on the overall performance of Eurofins Environment Testing Spain in the following areas: Operations, Sales & Marketing, Financial Management and Logistics.
Leading a daily operational team in production;
Investigating business development opportunities (bringing new analyses to market, establishing new accreditations);
Driving the integrations of recently acquired companies (tooling and change management in Sales & Marketing, Customer Support, service portfolio, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing, etc.);
Performing an overall review of the operations performance and advising on project improvements;
Benchmarking operational performance of the service portfolio of Environment Testing Spain with Eurofins Group and direct competitors;
Performing a review of current operations dashboards and KPIs in;
Engaging in outlier reporting & analysis (root cause analysis of ad hoc production / supply chain performance issues).
We are looking for a recent graduate (1-2 years) from a top European university with a degree in Technical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Business Studies. You should have proven leadership and entrepreneurship skills in an early-career position or extra-curricular activities, as well as strong communication (oral and written) in both Spanish and English.
We would like to see strong IT and analytical skills, including experience with statistical analysis. Experience with Analytical Chemistry/Environment Policies and additional languages are a plus.
The position is based in Castellón – Comunidad Valenciana, Spain. Possible occasional travel to other sites.
