POSITION TITLE: Key Account Manager

DEPT / DIVISION: Ops – ESP

POSITION REPORTS TO: Operations Manager

LOCATION: Madrid

Leon Cycle is an e-bike business established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 15 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, and trekking e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our own retail stores and franchise as well as dealer networks worldwide.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB:

Business development of new dealers /independent bike dealers and retailers
Existing dealer account management
Maintain ongoing communication and relationships with dealers and attending to all inquiries on inventory, pricing, margins, promotions, payment terms etc
Partner with potential dealers to assist and support their growth as a true business partner
Potential development of franchise models
Attending to various bike expo and bike exhibitions
Liaise with Shanghai HQ on inventory and demand planning requests

REQUIREMENTS

5-8 years of B2B sales experience working for a sporting goods, retail, consumer goods segment
Proven track record of new business development and key account management experience
Strong sales skills and consultative sales ability
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to frequently travel and meet with potential dealers
Passion for sports and cycling
