As a Business Analyst you will consult with clients to identify, clarify, and solve issues critical to clients’ strategic, operations and IT systems, operating success by:
Thoroughly preparing and conducting interviews
Gathering and organizing required data
Executing required analyses
Identifying issues and problems and recommending approaches to address them
Testing quality of data and reconciling them across sources
Presenting facts and evidence in meetings- serving as an effective support resource to team in client meetings
As a BA you’ll take responsibility for a discrete section of the problem solving exercise in each engagement and produce tangible & fact-based recommendations. Among other aspects, you’ll be required to:
Complete defined analytical tasks to agreed-upon standard, quality, and timing
Develop works which are substantive, comprehensive, well-grounded, and clearly documented
Exploit all available information sources/resources in context of work assignment
Show a general understanding of the business context and critical issues, and be responsive to all inquiries and requests
Actively seek clarification of requests/deliverables to ensure full satisfaction
Be seen as an effective communicator and exhibit a direct, open style
Demonstrate ability to network with other staff to relay client needs and ensure closure
Identify issues and alert engagement leader in timely manner
Understand case objectives, deliverables, and their role
Structure detailed work plan for assigned tasks
