Job Description
We are looking for a passionate product owner to own our in house media effectiveness measurement solution (ROI engine), working closely with stakeholders across data science, data engineering, deployment, brand marketing, and media teams across Europe.

This role is critical to the delivery of ROI Engine for Europe, coordinating the European level product design, managing rollout, navigating trade-offs and shaping the future of the solution. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop a solution that will cover all media touchpoints and all brands and countries in Europe – from UK to Russia and from Lays, Doritos and Cheetos to Pepsi, Rockstar, Tropicana and many others.

About the role

Our team has been established to build our brands, optimize PepsiCo’s media investment and drive Media thought leadership in the company. This team is a part of the bigger Advanced Analytics CoE that provides in-house solutions for optimization of our marketing and commercial plans.

This role will be integral to the immediate and future success of the project. As well as technical skills, this will require significant influencing and coordination skills to work alongside both Global teams (to understand and adapt the global product for Europe), Sector CoE teams to deliver data, analytics, and UX/UI plus media measurement teams managing deployment into the relevant market and brand teams.

Beyond initial deployment, this role will develop and deliver the roadmap to industrialize the solution for Europe. This will require identifying and securing the supporting data fabric, QC to ensure data sets are fit for purpose, and coordinating the build of data pipes to ensure that foundational data sets are refreshed regularly. The role will also design WoW across data engineering and data science (local and GBS) to ensure analytics outputs remain robust. Finally, the role will coordinate the design and delivery of a User Interface / User Experience to facilitate ongoing ease of use within the business.

Key accountabilities of the role are:
Owning, evolving and delivering the strategy for the product
Creating a standardized solution that can be transferred to multiple markets with ease
Creating, shaping and owning the messaging about the product

The role sits within the European Advanced Analytics team and reports into the European Director of Media and category, and acts as a key point of contact for all relevant internal stakeholders.
What are we looking for?

A strong candidate will have:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Leadership and influencing skills, ability to demonstrate confidence in communications with stakeholders at all levels and under high pressure
Solid organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once delivering strong, detailed execution
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, matrix org, adapt to changes, and effectively work and collaborate in cross-functional teams
Solid understanding of how data & analytics can be used to drive business impact in marketing – comfort and good intuition around advanced analytics, with a good basic understanding of modeling techniques and advanced applied skills (e.g. Regression, Customer life cycle value, A/B testing) – though no requirement to be able to build models or apply these skills.
5+ years of experience in a significant Data / Analytics role – with experience in either Market Mix / Econometric modeling preferable.
Experience in program management of technical teams, ideally also involving experience with data governance (e.g. data bible, Dev Ops).
Technical understanding of Cloud Computing and advanced analytics tools (up to and including coding in R and/or Python)
Strong analytical acumen and quantitative skills with a demonstrated ability to translate information and data into actionable insights story and strategic recommendations
