Job Description Summary
The Customer Service Leader – Combined Cycle is responsible for the execution of contractual and/or transactional service contracts covering Generators and Steam Turbines.
In this role you will manage complex issues within functional areas of expertise, lead planning and execution of both, planned and unplanned events to support our customers and contribute to the overall GE Power Services business strategy.
You will drive fast and quality execution through the various members of the customer service, parts and transactional services teams.

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

Act as the point of contact (POC) to the customer for the assigned Combined Cycle outages.
Own contractual and/or transactional contract leadership.
Establish and maintain contact with customers to provide on-going technical and business support to assigned customers within Spain.
Act as the interface with various external and internal stakeholders (such as FieldCore, engineering, finance, sales, sourcing, affiliates, risk, parts, and repairs) to maximize the value of our field services fulfillment execution for customers.
Provide robust event planning (incl. to oversee the outage demand placement in GE ERP systems – parts request, repair scheduling & resourcing labor needs) for all assigned outages in a timely manner.
Lead all logistics of planning, execution, outage closeout and the accuracy and timeliness of billing.
Drive Extra Work identification and capture while supporting the work scope, pricing development for projects. Oversee Job Cost Estimates (JCE) and work scopes to support the Commercial teams during bid process.
Own financial pacing and performance (Sales/CM) for assigned Combined Cycle segment.
Negotiate applicable concessions as they arise balancing maximum benefits/satisfaction for the customer with minimal acceptable financial impact to GE.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college specialized in an engineering or business field
At least 5 years of experience in managing service contracts and a customer facing role.
Knowledge of Multi-Year Service Agreements as well as Transactional Service Agreements structure, financial model and associated T&C’s.
Willingness and ability to travel 50% of the time.
Fluent in Spanish and English

Desired Characteristics:

GE Generators and Steam Turbines deep knowledge & experience within the power industry.
Experience in outage planning and project management.
Strong leadership, financial and commercial skills.
A good team leader in a dynamic, energetic and complex environment, equipped with quick learning capability and accountability.
