The Technician, Process Control, contributes to projects or work process in functional area of engineering applying current industry/technical knowledge and techniques in order to ensure process stability and optimized to capture value.
Executes of work process effectively and prioritizes based on business criticality.
Evaluates and analyzes projects, products, materials and/or processes, supports root cause analysis, generates reports, performs design and engineering tasks and coordinates own activities with other peers and operating groups on production/ maintenance/ process planning and improvement activities/programs/projects or application design.
Implements projects in coordination with manager, technology and other engineering resources to ensure timely startup.
Identifies improvement opportunities, provides justification, taking into account wider (business) context, and translates these into actions/projects.
Executes actions, process improvements or projects.
Applies techniques involving only minor innovations of methodology to provide solutions to problems with a limited number of variables.
Executes risk assessments/studies and ensures action item closure.
Ensures application of (EHS) policies and engineering methodologies/standards.
Accepts and takes the lead on new initiatives.
Higher Education-level in Engineering / Information Technology / Bachelor degree
Experience in Process Automation
Broad knowledge of regulatory, advanced and SIS control systems
Proven experience in leading process automation projects
SABICConnect interface configuration and maintenance
Excellent analytical capabilities & conceptual thinking
Knowledge of project-based working
Negotiation and problem-solving skills
Ability to challenge status-quo
Fluent in English and Spanish
