As Transportation Representative Intermodal, you are in charge of the effective management of a fleet of drivers within the region, you will drive the load planning and coordinate the pickups and deliveries in order to maximize efficiency and profitability.
We are looking for a dedicated, reliable individual with strong problem-solving and critical skills that can support the operations run efficiently and assist with daily needs of the business.
Daily communication with internal customers (customer teams) and external suppliers (Transport companies, Depos, Rail Service)
Identify and eliminate root causes of defects (late deliveries, etc.) in order to drive efficiency in the daily operations
Responsible for optimizing all pickups and deliveries with Train service provider and booking of the slots on train
Coordinate the fleet of trucks and drivers during pre-carriage and post-carriage service through proper routing and equipment selections
Coordinate the maintenance and reparation service of the Trailers with Depo
Identify opportunities to improve trucks utilization
Work closely with Account Management Teams to drive proactive load planning
Good communication in English, Spanish and Lithuanian/Russian/Polish
Experience in Intermodal/Transportation company
Great problem-solving skills
Ability to pull data from internal databases, analyze it using Excel and perform ad hoc reporting and cost analysis as needed
Able to systematically escalate problems to the relevant internal teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure the service is delivered
